Join us for a creative writing workshop as we create alternate endings for "The Skull: A Tyrolean Folktale" by Jon Klassen. Best for 3rd - 6th grade students. Registration is Required.
"The Skull" is Jon Klassen's retelling of a traditional Tyrolean folktale originating from Austria. He first read this folktale in an Alaskan library and kept thinking about it well after he put the book down. He revisited the story a year later and found that his memory of the ending had changed over time, which led him to create his newest book.
During this program, we will read the story together and pause to create our own endings before learning how Klassen concludes the book.
